Is it a country song, is it a folk song... it really doesn't matter because it is one of the greatest songs ever written... f* great

It is a John Prine song that got my first attention with the beautiful movie ' Into the Wild'. I dug deeper in the Prine songbook and have to admit I've become a huge Prine fan. This is hands down one of his best tracks! And he has a lot more legendary songs...

I love to sing it, I love to play it and every single time that third verse comes it cuts deep. It even gives me the chills while singing it! Most of the times it cuts just right, sometimes hitting those notes, it cuts even deeper. I know it's been done by so many other artists and this is hours!
